The Building
The building where El-Bethel Baptist Church meets has a unique history. The original construction was in 1942 at Camp Crowder, south of Joplin, Missouri. In 1947, the building was torn down in sections and moved to its present location. According to records, it is one of four World War II chapel buildings originally built at Camp Crowder. Only two remain as original to this date. The second building, as of September 1, 2003, according to Pastor, Rex Robertson is Christian Life Center in Joplin, Missouri.
